Matthew gets his portrait painted….

Matthew appeared as a guest sitter on Sky Portrait Artist of the Year on Sky Arts last night.    The programme is still available for catch up on Sky/NowTV.

Matthew’s ‘performance’ as a guest sitter was summed up as ‘a bit sleepy’!   He had to sit for four hours without dropping off!

A Discovery of Witches comes to BBC America and AMC for a network TV release

A Discovery of Witches will be shown on BBC America and AMC networks in the US.

“Thanks to the critical acclaim and overwhelmingly positive audience response to A Discovery of Witches, the series has found a new legion of fans. We are thrilled to bring it to a wider audience and pair it with Killing Eve on both AMC and BBC AMERICA,” said Sarah Barnett, President of AMC Entertainment Networks. “This is a great example of our cross-network strategy; to expose our series to new audiences across our ecosystem of networks and streaming services.”

Beginning Sunday, April 7 at 9 p.m., the series will be simulcast on AMC and BBC America.

Entertainment Weekly reported that:-

A Discovery of Witches dropped on streaming platforms Shudder and Sundance Now on Jan. 17 and quickly made waves, smashing Sundance Now’s records for total video plays and accounting for more than half of the streaming activity to the platform. Sundance Now also saw its subscribers increase by 30 percent in January in anticipation of the series’ premiere.

Kingsman – The Great Game

For a few weeks there have been rumours that Matthew is to have a role in the new Kingsman prequel ‘The Great Game’ however there has been nothing official confirming his involvement.  Bad Bamigboye posted an ‘exclusive’ tweet yesterday –
