Matthew Goode to play at Dunhill Links – 5th to 8th October

Matthew will be playing in the Dunhill Links golf tournament at St Andrews next week!

MATTHEW GOODE

Admired British actor, he has a long list of successful films in which he has appeared including Match Point, Imagine Me & You, My Family and Other Animals, Copying Beethoven, The Lookout, Brideshead Revisited, Watchmen, A Single Man, Leap Year, Stoker and The Imitation Game.

Was a member of the cast of the popular Downton Abbey series and played Anthony Armstrong-Jones, Princess Margaret’s husband, in The Crown.

Says his best golfing moment was partnering Danny Willett in the 2010 Championship and playing with Martin Kaymer, the eventual winner, in the final group.

This is the eighth time he has played. Says he once hit the ball straight right at the 18th and it bounced on the road and onto a building before ricocheting on to the green.

‘A Discovery of Witches’ available to stream on HBO for a limited time in the US.

All three seasons of the fantasy series starring Teresa Palmer and Matthew Goode will be available to viewers based in the US for a limited time. Between September 1 and October 31, a few of AMC’s series will be hosted on HBO’s streaming platform MAX on both the ad-free and ad-lite services for no extra cost.

Bad Wolf Ltd are offering fans of the award-winning series A Discovery of Witches the opportunity to purchase a selection of props and costumes in aid of the charities The Trevor Project (USA) and Place2Be (UK).

Adapted from Deborah Harkness’ best-selling novel, A Discovery of Witches is a contemporary love story set in our world, but a world which humans share with the declining species of witches, vampires and daemons – creatures existing and working amongst us, but hiding, unknown to most humans, in plain sight.

The items available have been carefully curated by the production team and include priceless creations made especially for the show.

Please help us raise funds by participating in our auction or by making a donation. The online auction will close at 5pm (BST) on 7th September 2023.
