Matthew Goode is going to play James Bond. Kind of.

The Ordeal by Innocence star is going to voice the audiobook edition of Anthony Horowitz’s second James Bond novel Forever and a Day, which will be released later this month.

The news was announced by the Twitter account dedicated to original Bond author Ian Fleming on Friday afternoon (May 11).

“We are thrilled to announce that the audiobook edition of Anthony Horowitz’s new James Bond novel, Forever and a Day, will be narrated by fantastic British acting talent, Matthew Goode,” the tweet read.

Earlier this year, Horowitz revealed that Forever and a Day will be a prequel to Casino Royale, Ian Fleming’s first 007 novel.

He also revealed it would work on original material created by Ian Fleming himself.

Forever and a Day will also be published by Ian Fleming’s original publishers, Jonathan Cape, and will be released on May 31.

It’s available to pre-order now on Amazon/Audible.     [Digital Spy]
